Explorer Talk with Ed Drake at Mr Fogg's

Join Inspirational Adventures for a thrilling evening of adventurer tales with Ed Drake, four-time British Ski Champion and Olympian on 14th October.

Held in the resplendent surrounding of Mr Fogg’s Apothecary’s Elixir Room, Ed will be discussing his illustrious career starting at the tender age of 12 on the British Children’s Ski Team before going on to represent Great Britain at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver where he competed in the men’s downhill, super-G, giant slalom and combined. 

Ed is a four-time British ski champion winning the giant slalom and combined in 2008 and 2009. After switching to ski cross in 2013, Ed narrowly missed out on representing Team GB at the Sochi Olympics. Since retiring in 2016, Ed has focused on broadcasting and commentating on Eurosport’s World Cub coverage.

Interviewed by Simon Kelton, Founder of Inspirational Adventures, Ed will share his thoughts on the future of British Alpine Skiing and the stars of the sport. He will also air a trailer for his upcoming TV show 100 Seconds and offer an exciting opportunity to ski with him in Iceland next March with Viking Heliski.
