Best Non-Alcoholic Cocktails for Dry January
Cutting out alcohol this January doesn’t mean your social life has to come to a halt, so we’ve found our favourite alcohol-free cocktails in Mayfair to sip on whilst you catch up with friends and family.
If you haven’t managed to escape the winter weather this year yet, whisk yourself away to The Coburg Bar at The Connaught where you can sip on ‘Essence of the Tropics’, a perfect blend of passionfruit, pineapple, orange and cranberry that will transport you to the sunniest of climes in an instant.
Le Magritte Bar at The Beaumont
Relaxing and restorative, ‘The Therapist’ is our favourite alcohol-free cocktail at Le Magritte. The Beaumont’s tart combination of orange, pineapple, lime, and cherry juice is mixed with orgeat syrup for a sweet touch.
The Painter’s Room at Claridge’s
Whilst you may be staying sober, those keen to replicate their favourite drink should head to The Painter’s Room at Claridge’s, where the ‘May as well be a Negroni’ does exactly what it says. Made with Aecorn Bitter, Rooibos, Vanilla and Balsamic, the bitter notes in this elegant Aperitivo are just enough to make you think you’re drinking the real thing.
Fancy a fruity refresher this winter? The Pine Bar at The Biltmore’s ‘Fresh Cut Fizz’ is for you. Blended with our favourite alcohol-free spirit Seedlip and mixed with Giffard rhubarb syrup and lime juice, alongside rhubarb hibiscus and garnished with a slice of – you guessed it – rhubarb, this tangy tonic will leave you feeling ready for anything.
Getting There: Claridge’s is a two minute walk south from Bond Street Station; The Beaumont is a three minute walk south-west from Bond Street Street, whilst The Connaught and The Biltmore are approximately a seven minute walk from Bond Street Station or a ten minute walk from Green Park Station.
